The HST Impact Study is a project within the framework of the HST Integration (HST4i) and HSTconnect projects.
IMPACTE aims to develop the use of rail and sea for the distribution of freight across the North West European region in order to alleviate road congestion and to stengthen the economic role of cross channel ports.
FINESSE The FINESSE project focuses on the potential for shifting freight from road to rail and launching new and commercially sustainable intermodal services in each partner country.

http://www.humanhub.nl HSL Zuid The Netherlands is breaking new ground in the field of transport: in 2007 the country will get a connection to the European network of High Speed Lines. High speed trains with a maximum speed of 300 kilometres an hour will take travellers directly from Amsterdam to Schiphol, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels and Paris. This offers significant advantages.
